Numb the pain

Well that is just what substance abuse does, it just 'numbs' the pain. If we do not search deep with in ourselves and determine what our innermost demons are we will never deal with what is killing us.

Drugs, from personal experience, will never take away the pain. It just actually has the opposite affect on us.

It puts you on such a low that you sit and wonder what the hell to do to get the next fix and that is when most people do the weird and wacky things we hear about on news.

This is what comedown looks like. The feeling when you in between reality and another world. When you are very vulnerable to negative influences. And that's when you as they say should not be mixing with the wrong crowd. They will break you down.
